When you click "Find" on the Offers' definition screen, the "Offers query" box will appear. If you enter information in the fields described below and then click "OK," the cursor will automatically jump to the offer you are looking for. This function takes away the need for having to scroll through your whole list of offers in order to find a particular one.
You can enter information in as many of the fields below as you wish and the cursor will not jump to an offer unless the definition of the code meets all of the criteria entered. For example, let's say that you entered "AIC" in the 'Publication' field and "12" in the 'Issues' field and then click "OK." The cursor would not jump to an offer unless an offer exists with a term of 12 for publication AIC.
Once you have clicked "OK" and QuickFill has located the first offer that has the term, quantity, service or price that you specified you can click "Find Again" to move to the next offer that meets the specified criteria.
Publication
If you type the code for a publication in this field and then click "OK," the cursor will move to the first offer that is linked to this publication. To move to the second or subsequent offer to which the publication code is linked, click "Find Again."
Offer code
If you type an offer code in this field and then click "OK," the cursor will move to the first offer that has that offer code. Note that an offer code may exist for more than one publication — offer codes are unique within publication only. To move to the second or subsequent offer with that offer code, click "Find Again."
Issues
Enter the term of an offer, expressed as a number of issues, and click "OK". The cursor will move the first offer defined for that number of issues. To move to the next offer with that term, click "Find Again".
Free issues
Enter a number and click "OK". The cursor will move the first offer defined with that number of free issues. To move to the next offer with that number of free issues, click "Find Again".
Minimum qty
Enter a number and click "OK". The cursor will move the first offer defined with that minimum quantity. To move to the next offer with that minimum quantity, click "Find Again".
Service code
Type a service code in this field and click "OK". The cursor will move to the first offer that has that service code. To move to the second or subsequent offer with that service code, click "Find Again."
Price
Enter a price and click "OK". The cursor will move to the first offer defined with that price. Prices are matched for region 1 only.
You may also search for similar offers by using wild cards. For example, if you would like to locate 1997 offers and you have defined these offers so that they all end with "97," you could enter "*97" in the 'Offer Code' field. When you click "OK," the cursor will jump to the first offer code that ends with "97." When you click "Find Again," the cursor will jump to the second offer code that ends with "97," and so on.
