On this screen you can schedule an address change that should take place at some point in the future. This address change can be a permanent one time change, or it can be a recurring or non-recurring temporary change.
To schedule an address change, enter the new address in the fields on this screen, then enter the schedule dates for the change as follows:
For a one-time permanent change, enter an effective date and leave the ending date blank.
For a temporary change enter the effective date when the change should be made and then enter an ending date when the customer will return to his or her original address.
For a seasonal address change that should take place at the same dates every year enter both an effective date and an ending date, then check the box labeled "check here if the change should be made every year on the same dates".
To cancel a scheduled address change click the "Clear" button to erase the address, then click "OK".
Pending address changes take effect when the effective date is reached. The Issue Labels, Billing and Renewal updates all check for pending address changes before generating any labels, bills or renewal notices that are addressed to the customers with pending changes. Reports and exports do not check for pending address changes. If you need to send a mailing using the Promotional Labels report or the Customer export and you want to ensure that all pending address changes have been done, then you should run the 'Update Addresses' update before you run your report or export. That will ensure that all scheduled address changes that are now due will be done before you send your mailing.
